As a Deli Bakery Associate at Military Deli & Bakery Services, you will have the opportunity to serve our nation’s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations. Job Description

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service, teamwork, positive communication, and assist team members as needed.
• Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests.
• Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly.
• Stock and organize displays, including helping with shipments.
• Ensure proper sanitation, equipment maintenance, and food handling.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Other duties may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Basic math knowledge and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts.
• Tolerance for working in freezers for up to 20 minutes.
• Team player attitude.
• Some weekend shifts are required.
