Job summary

ANVIL is seeking a Systems Engineer to deploy mission-critical software for defence, public safety, and national security customers. You’ll install, configure, and deploy on government infrastructure, designing data pipelines and integration architectures across the platform.

You will work closely with defence contractors and military personnel, leading customer-facing discovery, setting deployment strategy, and delivering secure, containerized solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in software deployment, infrastructure, or systems integration.
• 2+ years of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• 2+ years of Linux server deployment/administration or building integrations with external systems.
• Experience deploying, securing, or integrating production systems in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical discovery sessions and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment and integration strategies with customers and internal teams.
• Create detailed deployment plans and integration designs, with documentation for security and regulatory requirements.
• Lead infrastructure strategies, containerization frameworks, and integration patterns across the platform.
• Travel to customer sites for requirements, deployment, and hands-on support; build and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Deploy, secure, and monitor Linux-based applications and data pipelines; design and test integrations with external systems.
• Provide regular status updates on deployment progress and system health metrics.
