Job summary

Handyman Connection is seeking skilled carpenters/deck and fence builders to join our team in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph regions. Work as an independent contractor on a part-time basis, with the freedom to set your own schedule and location within the service area.

Responsibilities include designing and building decks and fences, performing repairs and resurfacing, estimating materials, and presenting work orders to clients.

Qualifications

• Competency in general building trades.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and insurance.
• Your own tools, vehicle and references.
• Must pass screening process.
• Your own smart phone and Internet access.

• Deck and fence repairs and rebuilds
• Deck resurfacing
• Fence post repair
• Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.
