Job summary

Anthesis Group is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead decarbonization engagements from Canada. You will shape science based targets, advise clients across technology, food, finance, healthcare and retail sectors, and contribute to proposals and market offerings.

The role emphasizes collaboration, client relationships, and delivering tangible climate outcomes. You will guide target setting, model Scope 3 emissions, and translate sustainability initiatives into long term business value, working

Qualifications

5+ years in decarbonization, climate strategy, or sustainability consulting.
Experience developing and modeling Science-Based Targets (SBTi).
Strong understanding of GHG accounting principles and the GHG Protocol.
Ability to translate decarbonization initiatives into commercial value.
Experience supporting leadership with climate and sustainability decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements to advise and implement decarbonization solutions.
Manage target-setting and decarbonization projects with analyses and client reports.
Develop proposals and competitive bids for new opportunities.
Collaborate across geographic and sector teams to deliver projects.
Provide technical expertise on SBTi requirements and Scope 3.
Help grow services and share best practices within the team.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and client relationships.
