Redeemer University invites applications for the Dean of Business to lead the School of Business, shaping undergraduate concentrations, graduate programs, certificates, and centers for excellence. Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in an academic leadership position with oversight of program and/or faculty.
• Superior oral, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional people skills with ability to motivate faculty and staff and foster collaboration.
• Dynamic, entrepreneurial leadership with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the senior academic leadership team to ensure mission alignment and strategic program growth across programs and curriculum.
• Provide oversight for all academic, administrative and vision-related School of Business matters.
• Lead the faculty in strategic planning and implementation of new initiatives.
• Ensure faculty are engaged in professional development in teaching, scholarship and service.
• Maintain accreditation in line with strategic priorities and liaise with external organizations and donors.
• Address student concerns and teach Business courses with a reduced teaching load.
