The ideal candidate will bring a successful track record in administrative leadership roles within a research-intensive university. The Dean will have a research and teaching record consistent with appointment as a Full Professor at SFU in the Beedie School. An engaging and strategic leader, they will inspire students, faculty, staff, donors, alumni, industry, and other partners to support the evolution of the School’s vision and reinforce its unique culture and community. The Dean will build upon the values SFU places on ethical and social responsibility, Indigenization, decolonization, and Truth & Reconciliation, with a track record that demonstrates principles of equity and diversity, and a proven record of promoting inclusive excellence in all its forms.
