Job description

A career within Deals, Capital Projects and Infrastructure, part of our Real Assets group, will provide you with the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients, offering advice and support from initiation through to completion. We help leading companies and governments across various industries originate, create, execute, and realize value. Using data-driven insights, we ensure our clients move in the right direction to maximize value.

The Capital Project Services team advises governments and businesses on delivering complex capital projects and programs. As part of our team, you'll provide expertise on the design and delivery of transformative projects, program and commercial management approaches, and optimization of capital programs, ensuring project success within constrained budgets or challenging circumstances. You will work across multiple sectors, providing services throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility, governance, infrastructure, and procurement to construction readiness, project execution, and operational readiness.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Deals, Capital Projects and Infrastructure, Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to address business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Reviewing project schedules and budgets, forecasting project performance, and conducting risk assessments.
  2. Performing independent validation of project data.
  3. Developing project management processes.
  4. Contributing to the development, implementation, and monitoring of project controls.
  5. Preparing reports and presentations.
  6. Assisting in proposal preparation and opportunity development for the CP&I practice.
  7. Conducting site visits and inspections, which may require travel to remote locations.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve problems
  • Openness to learning new tools and adapting your work approach.
  • Extensive experience in engineering consulting, project management, or construction management firms.
  • Experience managing project activities related to engineering/design, construction, and commissioning, including cost estimates, schedules, and risk management.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience working on complex capital projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commerce; an MBA or similar degree is a plus.
  • Interest in obtaining professional designations (e.g., PMP, P. Eng., CFA) is advantageous.
  • Experience with construction claims is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of French is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

The salary range for this position is $58,400.00 - $97,500.00, plus potential annual bonuses. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
