Ferguson is the largest wholesale distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies, pipe, valves, and fittings in the U.S. The company also distributes HVAC equipment, fire protection systems, waterworks, and industrial products and services. Ferguson and its subsidiaries serve customers across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for our Perris Distribution Center to join our team for 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, with overtime).

Responsibilities

1. Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector / cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
2. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
3. Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
4. Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials accurately and promptly.
5. Maintain a clean workspace and participate in keeping the facility safe and accident-free.

Qualifications

1. Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
2. High attention to detail.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
4. Dependability, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to learn our systems quickly.
6. Ability to lift 20-70 lbs constantly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $24.50 per hour
• Monthly incentives up to $5.50 per direct labor hour worked
