Position Summary
The DC Support Processor is a level 2 position which supports the operational objectives of the automated $1B company’s 1.8 million square foot Distribution Center (DC).
The DC Support Processor plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring accurate data entry, order processing, and documentation management. This position requires a high level of proficiency in WMS systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead process improvements. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced distribution environment. The DC Support Processor provides foundational clerical and logistical support across various departments, ensuring seamless inventory control and shipment accuracy.
This role works collaboratively within a team and cross functionally to achieve department and operational goals. It requires flexibility and a desire to learn while working in a diverse team environment that prioritizes collaboration, trust, teamwork, and continuous improvement to drive customer satisfaction.

Functional Responsibilities
  1. Direct Daily Operations per Department
Receiving
  • Accurately enters inbound shipment data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Verifies documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork.
  • Communicates with carriers and internal teams regarding shipment discrepancies.
  • Maintains accurate records and assist with resolving receiving discrepancies.
Shipping
  • Generates bills of lading, packing slips if needed, and driver required documentation.
  • Verifies outbound shipments for accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Assists in optimizing shipping workflows and document management.
  • Coordinates with transportation providers to confirm scheduled pickups and ensure on-time delivery.
Sortrak and GOH
  • Supports order fulfillment by validating system data and coordinating with warehouse teams.
  • Assists in verifying order accuracy before processing and packaging merchandise.
  • Monitors pick ticket and packing slip accuracy, escalating discrepancies as needed.
Special Services
  • Coordinates data entry and documentation for specialized processing (e.g., ticketing, labeling, repackaging).
  • Works with operations teams to ensure compliance with customer-specific VAS requirements.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts in value-added service workflows and quality control measures for specialized processing.
Full Case
  • Validates full-case shipments against system records and resolve quantity discrepancies.
  • Ensures product is correctly labeled and meets customer specifications.
  • Collaborates with inventory and quality control teams to maintain accuracy.
  • Assists in developing best practices for full-case processing.
E-Commerce
  • Processes and validates e-commerce orders for accuracy and timely shipment.
  • Assists in troubleshooting order discrepancies and returns.
  • Ensures proper labeling and documentation for direct-to-consumer shipments.
  1. Data Management & Administrative Support
  • Accurately enters data, processes reports, prints bills of lading and labels, maintains files, and completes production paperwork.
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  1. Technology & System Utilization
  • Operates various technologies, including computers, tablets, RF scanners, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to research and process order data.
  • Supports areas of automation by troubleshooting system issues, researching errors, and assisting in process enhancements.
  • Uses Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to compile reports, analyze data, and create documentation.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely order processing and workflow efficiency.
  • Communicates with external partners such as dispatchers, trucking companies, and ports to verify import/export information and address shipping discrepancies.
  • Assists department managers in organizing and distributing work among team members.
  1. Troubleshooting & Process Improvement
  • Investigates system errors, missing data, or workflow inefficiencies and works with the appropriate teams to resolve issues.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance operational processes and system functionality, providing recommendations for improvement.
  1. Workplace Organization & Compliance:
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following 6S standards.
  • Adheres to company safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Education/Qualifications
  • REQUIRED
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS platforms.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
    • Capability to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
    • Ability to adapt to various roles within the DC as needed.
  • PREFERRED
  • Some college coursework or an associate degree

Experience
  • REQUIRED
    • Minimum of 2+ years of clerical or logistics support experience in a distribution center or 3PL.
    • Proficient knowledge of WMS and inventory control processes.
    • Demonstrated computer and technical savvy including the ability to learn new programs and systems quickly including in house WMS.
    • Demonstrated strong customer service, communications, and interpersonal skills with ability to collaboratively work as part of a team in a complex and fast paced workplace.
  • PREFERRED
  • Prior experience in an automated distribution environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
