Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is seeking full-time Material Handlers for our Distribution Center.

This role covers unloading, loading, warehousing and staging of merchandise using manual and/or mechanical means in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or some high school.
• Adaptable to change by working within different departments.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to operate manual and automated pallet jack equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner.
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight.
• Stage outbound freight in shipping.
• Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations.
• Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling.
• Replenish and condense merchandise into most effective locations for order pulling.
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met.
