Job summary

The Brick is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler at our distribution centre in Canada. You will report to the Distribution Manager and support loading/unloading, picking, put-away, and accurate stock control. A focus on safety and efficiency is required to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates are comfortable operating pallet jacks and order pickers, can meet deadlines, and are flexible for evenings and weekends. The Brick offers competitive pay and benefits in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Job description

The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distributionteam.As a Warehouse Material Handler you will be reporting to theDistribution Manager. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focusedattitude! Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking and put-away of all product types
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
• Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading appliances, etc.)
• Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
• Be able to meet deadlines
• Experience operating, order picker, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance is an asset
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
• Should pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
• Should demonstrate Attention to detail and accuracy via a theory test on site
