Job summary

The Brick is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for our distribution centre in Canada. You will report to the Distribution Manager and play a key role in loading/unloading trucks, picking and putting away products, and maintaining inventory knowledge.

We value team spirit, safety, and a customer-focused attitude. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, and a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs regularly (loading appliances, etc.).
• Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques.
• Be able to meet deadlines.
• Experience operating order pickers, pallet jacks, narrow aisle and counter balance equipment is an asset.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking and put-away of all product types
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
• Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures

Qualifications
