Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated DC HR Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administrative support to the DC HRBP team at our distribution services network facility. Your efforts will help create a meaningful and empowered experience for our associates.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide Human Resources Generalist support services to the DCHR Managers including Labour Relations, health and safety, claims management, talent acquisition, training and development, and HR data and metric maintenance.
  • Support the DCHR Manager and/or the AR Specialists in promoting a positive, inclusive work environment through confidential coaching and counseling to Associates, resolving issues in accordance with legislation, company policies, and procedures (e.g., Open Door, Diversity, Performance Management, corrective action), and providing timely responses to Associate Relations inquiries.
  • Assist with the administration and documentation of labour relations issues such as progressive discipline, attendance management, collective agreement interpretation, and grievance processes, partnering with the Associate Relations Specialist for consistency.
  • Provide full administrative support, including managing leave of absence processes, safety shoe reimbursements, preparing documents and presentation materials, handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, recording minutes, and supporting the AVP Admin Assistant when needed.
  • Support weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing, particularly through auditing and tracking compliance with the CBA, and serve as backup to the HR Coordinator role.
  • Compile, analyze, and distribute reports such as labour statistics and attendance management data.
About You:
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources generalist experience focusing on Labour or Associate Relations.
  • College Diploma/BA or equivalent education and experience.
  • Human Resources designation (CHRP or in progress) or equivalent.
  • Strong issue management, time management, multi-tasking, confidentiality, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Kronos, Oracle), MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to handle high-pressure inquiries, build relationships, and escalate conflicts appropriately.
