Job summary

You will support educators by promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children. The successful candidate will engage children in activities, prepare snacks, and ensure safety and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No formal education requirement.
• Emergency child care first aid and CPR certificate.
• Experience with children aged 3 months to 4 years.
• Experience with children with disabilities, ADHD/ADD, allergies.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong teamwork.
• Reliable, punctual, organized and flexible.
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task.
• Good hand-eye coordination and calm demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support early childhood educators in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Engage children in storytelling, songs, and crafts.

• Assist with feeding, dressing and toilet routines.

• The candidate will be responsible for supporting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• The candidate will be expected to engage children in activities such as storytelling, song teaching, and craft preparation.
• The candidate will be required to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• The candidate will be required to have knowledge of licensing regulations.
• The candidate will be required to establish guidelines for behavior.
• The candidate will be required to lead activities by taking children to local points of interest.
• The candidate will be required to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating.
• The candidate will be required to bottle‑feed infants and changing diapers when required

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Previous experience is not mandatory.
• The candidate must have Emergency child care first aid and CPR certificate.
• The candidate would be in charge of children aged one year, two years, three years, four years, and infants (3 months – 11 months)
• The candidate must have prior experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
• The candidate should have experience with Children with behavioral issues.
• The candidate should have experience with Children with allergies.
• The candidate should have experience with Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD).
• The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
