Job description

Millar Western’s Whitecourt Pulp Division is seeking a highly motivated Day Technician to join the Technical Team.

This role will support key laboratory functions by conducting environmental regulatory sampling and testing, maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment, calibrating mill lab instruments, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace through general housekeeping duties.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will hold a technical diploma or post-secondary degree in a relevant field, along with prior laboratory experience. They must demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time, daytime position that operates on a rotating schedule, including weekends.
