Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Reach Truck Operator for a contract position based in Mississauga, ON. The role requires standing, operating reach trucks, and handling inventory with RF scanners in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with overtime opportunities. The position offers a stable schedule and potential for extension based on performance, with onsite work and a safety-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of reach truck operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Valid Reach Truck Certification/License.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Forklift and general material handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse.
• Complete inventory put-aways, replenishments, and pick-face moves.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Conduct empty bin checks and ensure picking locations are fully stocked.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general material handling activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating standards.
