Job summary

Generations Cleaning is hiring multiple Commercial Office Cleaners to join our team at a large corporate office facility in Oakville. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.

Shifts run 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with training provided and opportunities for long-term employment and advancement. Uniforms are provided and you will work in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is an asset but not required.
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
• English communication required; Canada work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize washrooms.
• Clean offices, workstations, and common areas.
• Clean and maintain reception areas.
• Prepare meeting rooms and fitness/gym areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Collect garbage and recycling.
• Restock washroom and janitorial supplies.
• Maintain janitorial storage rooms.
• Spot clean glass and high-touch surfaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.

As a Commercial Office Cleaner, your duties may include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms.
• Cleaning offices, workstations, and common areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining reception areas.
• Cleaning and preparing meeting rooms.
• Cleaning fitness/gym areas and equipment.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Collecting garbage and recycling throughout the facility.
• Restocking washroom and janitorial supplies.
• Maintaining janitorial storage rooms.
• Spot cleaning glass and high-touch surfaces.
• Following cleaning schedules and company procedures.
• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset, but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically capable of walking, standing, lifting, bending, and performing cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
