Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain LodgeJasper, AB$17 an hour - Full-time Job detailsPay$17 an hourJob typeFull-timeLocationJasper, ABFull job descriptionWe are a seasonal property with positions starting May 7, 2025 until October 2025.For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in the Canadian Rockies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public and staff areas to our high standards. The lodge is in a very busy remote location and the cabins are outside with lots of walking each day. This job position has an early shift starting at 6am – 2pm.Responsibilities:Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in public areas such as restaurant, gift shop.Clean and sanitize public washrooms, including sinks, toilets and floors. Also restock soap, toilet paper, paper towels.Assisting the housekeepers in the morning by clearing all rooms of dirty linen and garbage from guests the night before.Make beds on busy days to assist housekeepers if needed.Clean and sanitize staff kitchen.Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisorFollow all health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.Assist with laundry or other cleaning tasks as needed.Requirements:Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidatesWillingness to work outsideAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelinesAbility to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbsCompensation:Wage: $17 plus bonuses.Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.Completion Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent.Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.If you are dedicated to providing exceptional service and have a passion for cleanliness, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
