Job summary

Earls Kitchen + Bar in Sherwood Park is seeking a Day Bartender to join our bar team. This role focuses on quality drinks, friendly service, and welcoming every guest with hospitality and energy.

You will start with server training for 2-3 weeks before transitioning to Day Bar training, with opportunities for growth and leadership within our dynamic team. A passion for people and drinks is essential in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Qualifications

  • 1 year serving or high-volume drinks experience.
  • Knowledge of liquor, wine and beer.
  • Commitment to hospitality, teamwork and fun.
  • Willingness to learn and accept feedback, coaching and mentorship.
  • The ability to legally work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Be a master multitasker. Excel in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional hospitality and crafting high-quality drinks for every guest.
  • Create engaging guest interactions. Strike up conversation with bar guests, from first-time diners to regulars.
  • Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle issues using multitasking and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate passion for the guest experience with menu and product knowledge.

Job description

We are looking for an engaging Day Bartender to grow our bar team. At Earls, our Bartenders not only take pride in the quality of product and service they provide, but have a natural passion for people. They understand the balance between taking their work seriously, but not themselves. From full wells to full woods, they maintain excitement with every drink poured.

Please note: You will have to go through Server training for the first 2-3 weeks that you are hired and then transition to Day Bar training.

As a Bartender, you will:
  • Be a master multitasker. Excel in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional hospitality and crafting high-quality drinks for every guest.
  • Create engaging guest interactions. Effortlessly strike up conversation with any and all bar guests, from first time diners to loyal regulars.
  • Be a problem solver and a supportive team player. Tackle problems by using your multi-tasking and communication skills, and be empowered to make decisions for you and your team members.
  • Demonstrate your passion for the guest experience. Display your love for food and drink through exceptional menu and product knowledge.
