Job summary

Tech Talent International (TTI) is hiring a Databricks Architect (with Informatica) for a consulting client. The contract role is hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, in Brampton, ON, Canada. 6-12 months duration with a 2-position headcount.

The target rate is $65-75/hr on a C2C basis, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include designing scalable data platforms with Databricks, migrating ETL from Informatica to Databricks, defining governance and security, and collaborating with business teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Expertise in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS/IDMC.
• Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Spark, and PySpark; Architect batch and real-time data pipelines on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Lead ETL modernization and migration from Informatica PowerCenter/IICS/IDMC to Databricks.
• Define data governance, security, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.

Role: Databricks Architect (with Informatica)

Type: Contract - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Rate Range: $65-75/hr C2C (40 hrs /week)
