Job summary

Jobgether SRL in Canada seeks a Database & GIS Geologist for Special Projects to oversee geological databases, GIS systems, and spatial datasets across exploration and development programs.

You will implement QA/QC procedures under NI 43-101, support due diligence and technical studies, and collaborate with geologists, engineers, and corporate teams, with remote work from Canada or the US and a hybrid option in Toronto.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geology, GIS, Geomatics, Earth Sciences, or related discipline, plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing geological databases and GIS applications within mining or mineral exploration.
• Familiarity with NI 43-101 reporting requirements and Canadian mineral exploration standards.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS for spatial analysis and map production.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological database and GIS management across exploration and development projects, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Develop and improve data workflows, metadata, governance, and version control.
• Perform GIS analysis and visualize geological information to support decision-making.
• Prepare maps, figures, and technical data packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, consultants, and corporate teams on digital workflows.
• Support due diligence, project reviews, and technical studies with high-quality data.
