Are you an experienced Analyst who can design, develop, test, implement and maintain databases and reporting models that meet the business and system requirements? Do you have excellent analytical and problem solving skills? This role requires an individual who can conduct daily audits, will troubleshoot problem areas and provide end user training and assistance. The job involves:

  • Performing regular audits to ensure integrity and completeness of BI reports, processes and data
  • Analyzing requests for changes or additions to current or new computer/business systems and evaluating and documenting solutions to effect these changes
  • Validation of data warehouse feeds by automated or manual procedures
  • Responsible for the design and maintenance of technical documentation including: data catalogues, structural diagrams and end user warehouse assets
  • Implementing of data warehouse infrastructure including ETL programs, views and table structures
  • Working on project teams for the purpose of creating or modifying existing data reports
  • Providing training to system users and assisting in implementing new models or procedural changes
  • Obtaining and maintaining applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions as required
  • Strict adherence to compliance and workplace policies, internal control procedures and privacy laws for all property locations
  • Continuous learning and keeping current with new developments in the IT field
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • University or college degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience with SQL/Snowflake and ETL tools (Informatica)
  • Knowledge of Database concepts
  • Knowledge of Niagara Casino Systems and Process would be considered an asset
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
