Capgemini is hiring a Data Validation Testing Lead works full time for 3 days in office in North York. We are hiring local, not looking for you to move to Ontario. Data Validation and manual testing experience is mandatory and will have to complete technical testing.

Requirement Analysis & Test Planning

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and clarify business requirements.

Translate business needs into well-defined test cases and acceptance criteria.

Ensure all scenarios, including edge cases, are covered in the test plan.

Manual Testing Execution

Perform hands-on testing by executing test cases across various platforms and environments.

Accurately document test results, report bugs, and track them to closure.

Validate fixes and perform regression testing as needed.

Automation Readiness & Implementation

Be well-versed in automation testing techniques and tools.

Show a willingness to adapt and implement automation in testing processes to improve efficiency.

Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Data Testing

Use SQL skills to validate data integrity, perform backend testing, and verify business logic at the database level.

Write and execute complex queries to support test scenarios.

Write SQL / Test scripts and execute to get data validated

Quality Assurance Best Practices

Follow and promote industry-standard testing methodologies and best practices.

Ensure test documentation is up-to-date and reusable.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes.

Demonstrate team-leading capabilities, including mentoring junior testers, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of testing milestones.

Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
