Pay Details:
$76,800 - $115,200 CAD

Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Data Science team consists of professional roles that provide consultative support with data & analytics-based business insights and/or solutions to guide decision making and/or strategic planning; it leverages and interprets data and analytical product to provide business specific or broad strategic insight by using a variety of analytics techniques and audience-specific communication skills. This area can also focus on gathering, analyzing and modeling all kinds of data to develop business insights or analytics solutions and generally involves the use of broad range of statistical and/or mathematical models/techniques and tools.

This position will support the Customer Experience & DSIP analytics, Marketing and Digital Analytics, AI2 team

Job Responsibilities:

Data Orchestration
  1. Coordinate and align data from multiple sources to produce accurate, consistent reports;
  2. Validate key data points when applicable, resolve discrepancies, and ensure readiness for leadership and external reporting;
  3. Track changes in upstream data sources and adjust logic/mapping as needed.

Dashboard and Report Maintenance
  1. Maintain and QA recurring dashboards and scheduled reports;
  2. Refresh visualizations and summaries for leadership and stakeholder consumption;
  3. Monitor performance and flag/report outdated or broken components.

Ad-Hoc Data Extraction and Analysis
  1. Respond to stakeholder requests by pulling data from SQL, dashboards, or data warehouses;
  2. Conduct analysis to support decision-making.

Data Lineage and Documentation
  1. Maintain documentation for all recurring metrics and reports, including definitions, transformations, and source tables;
  2. Contribute to centralized data dictionary to support transparency and consistent usage across teams.

Reporting Process Automation
  1. Identify repetitive tasks and build automated pipelines;
  2. Reduce manual intervention in refresh cycles increase turnaround speed.

Data Quality & Monitoring Support
  1. Assist in implementing data validation steps within reports or pipelines;
  2. Monitor upstream changes that might affect reporting integrity and flag issues early.

Job Requirements:

Essential Skills/Experience:
  1. SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks;
  2. Report/dashboard maintenance;
  3. Strong attention to data accuracy and quality;
  4. Ability to execute tasks efficiently;
  5. Critical thinking & proactive problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  1. BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.);
  2. Marketing/Digital Analytics knowledge;
  3. Curiosity and adaptability.
