Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Data Scientist with AI experience for a hybrid Toronto-based role. You will analyze AI adoption, measurement of engineering productivity, and data-driven KPIs to guide cost and quality decisions in a BFSI context.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Analytics or Data Science, expertise in Python, SQL, statistics, and experiment design, and hands-on work with Databricks, Power BI, and GitHub. You will collaborate across teams while upholding privacy constraints.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Science.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, statistics, experiment design, and cohort analysis.
• Experience in data quality, Git/GitHub, and reproducible data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
• Ability to analyze AI adoption, engineering productivity, code quality, deployment, usage, and cost metrics.
• Experience evaluating GitHub Copilot and Claude Code productivity, defining KPIs, and delivering data-driven insights while considering privacy and data limitations.
