Responsibilities:

-Act as lead in developing and managing data base architecture

-Manage and organize Azure database framework

-Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of the data lake

-Ability to visualize data using statistical and graphical techniques

-Manage and create Tableau data flows, customization views

-Develop Power BI visualizations

-Automate data flows via various incoming formats and structures

-Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, standards and delivery

-Identify and implement the right tech stack, driving adoption of BI tools and maintaining data warehouse technologies

-Ensure effective data governance, accuracy, and consistency across all BI initiatives

-Create and manage automated workflows across all workgroups

-Research and learn new technologies and processes to improve data flow efficiencies

-Contribute to development of AI tools for workforce

-Act as knowledge and expert resource for entire team

-Use predictive modeling to optimize data outputs and insights

-Communicating and coordinating with teams to implement data-driven strategies while measuring progress

Qualifications/Competencies:

• Post-secondary education with data science background
• End to end data science experience with proven ability to take models from research and development to full integration
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines that allow seamless integration of models into production environments.
• Familiar with large data platforms specifically Azure
• Experience with Tableau visualization and reporting including creating data stories through dashboards, reporting and visualizations.
• Self-Starter with business acumen
• Keen desire to grow and develop skills
• Able to work independently and in team settings
• Able to work closely with management team
• Ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
