We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning professional to design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions and recommendation systems that serve millions of customers. The successful candidate will work across the full machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation and experimentation to production deployment and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models at scale.
• Build recommendation and personalization systems using large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, feature engineering processes, and ML workflows.
• Work with pre‑trained models, embeddings, transfer learning, and model fine‑tuning techniques.
• Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and continuously improve model accuracy.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate business problems into AI solutions.

Technical Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit‑learn, and Hugging Face.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, statistics, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with recommendation systems, predictive modeling, and large‑scale customer analytics.
• Experience working with embeddings, vector search, and modern AI/LLM technologies is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing ML models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, and production ML systems.
• Graduate degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Salary and Compensation

Salary: $80,000.00 - $175,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
