The Role We are seeking a skilled and driven Analytics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be designing data solutions to drive business decisions and operational efficiency. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization, including IT, business operations and senior leadership. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights using our core technology stack, which includes SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting data projects that directly impact business outcomes, from improving operational efficiency to enabling data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI to meet business needs.Data Modeling & Optimization:Build and optimize Snowflake data models to ensure scalability and high performance.Data Pipelines & Transformation:Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using dbt, ensuring accurate and efficient data transformation.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy, and deliver analytical insights that drive decision-making.Process Improvement:Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in data governance, SDLC processes, and analytics workflows.Mentorship & Leadership:Provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence in data engineering.Issue Resolution:Diagnose and resolve data-related issues, ensuring smooth and reliable data operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or sufficient proven experience within the field.Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with hands-on expertise in SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt & SSRS or equivalent tools & technologies.Technical Expertise:Proven ability to design and implement large-scale data solutions and optimize complex data models using a variety of modeling techniques such as Star Schema & OBT.Governance & Process:Strong understanding of data governance, quality standards, and enforcing processes in data operations.Problem-Solving:Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Architect Mindset: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions by leveraging the appropriate tools, while adopting a comprehensive, end-to-end process perspective.Time Management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent work streams with competing deadlines, including experience prioritizing high-impact work in a fast-paced environment.Results Mindset: Experience quantifying and communicating business impact of analytics solutions. Track record of driving measurable improvements in business processes through data-driven solutions.
