Valnet Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze traffic, search, and engagement data, and to build dashboards and AI tools that guide content priorities.

You will work with the Brand Operator to evaluate pitches and translate data into actionable directives for wiki growth and audience expansion. The role emphasizes delivering measurable outcomes in a fast-paced digital media environment, with collaboration across teams and a focus on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in a data science, business intelligence, or analytical role.
• Motivated and experienced in using AI tools to accelerate and enhance analytical workflows.
• Strong communication skills, able to write clearly and produce audience-facing newsletters and reports.
• Ability to build and ship analytical agents and reports, not just produce one-off analyses.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced digital media environment.
• Bias toward execution and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in gaming, digital media, or performance-driven content environments is a strong plus, but not required.

Who we are:

Valnet looking for a Data Scientist. Our editorial and discovery teams produce high-value content at scale, and we're looking for a sharp Data Scientist to help us do it smarter.

This is an analytical and execution-focused role. You will work directly with the Brand Operator to identify where the biggest content opportunities lie, help manage and evaluate pitches from the discover-focused team, and build the data infrastructure that guides our strategic priorities.

Your insights will directly shape which wikis we build, how we grow our audience, and where we invest our team's time.
