As a Data Scientist, you’ll be part of a team working on cutting-edge machine learning models. You will collaborate with Analysts and Machine Learning Engineers and take full ownership of your work – from idea generation to final implementation. Our ideal candidate is result-focused, innovative, with a solid quantitative background and good business understanding.

About The Role

• Take full ownership of turning discoveries and ideas into machine learning models in a multidisciplinary team.
• Prototype diverse machine learning models, including credit scoring and recommendation engines.
• Research and develop methods to improve our models using our extensive and unique data sets.
• Contribute actively to advancing Data Science at Kredivo Group.

About You

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Ability to build robust end-to-end predictive models using the latest machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL platforms (e.g., S3).

Bonus Points (optional) for

• Experience evaluating credit risk using alternative data.
• Experience building end-to-end Deep Learning and/or NLP models.
