Job Title: Data Scientist

Role Overview: As a Data Scientist in the Programs & Supply Chain department, reporting to the Programs Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop machine learning and AI models using Azure Databricks.
2. Create predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive models from curated data to meet business needs.
3. Deploy models into production environments using Azure Databricks and related tools.
4. Monitor and maintain models for performance and accuracy.
5. Partner with data engineering to access and prepare datasets.
6. Work with application developers to integrate AI models into applications.
7. Evaluate and optimize model performance through experiments.
8. Manage model versions and performance using Azure Databricks’ model registry.
9. Document development processes, assumptions, and results.
10. Share insights to facilitate data-driven decisions.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field; PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with deployment focus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including model registry and data catalog.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data preprocessing.
• Familiarity with Azure ML and other Azure tools for deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows for ML is advantageous.
• Innovative, autonomous, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Interest in AI/ML advancements and industry trends.
