As a key member of our team, the Data Scientist role is instrumental in unlocking the power of data to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning. Collaborating closely with various departments, you'll address specific data needs and provide analytical support, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Design and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to support operational decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in complex datasets to uncover opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to understand their data needs and provide analytical support to address specific challenges.
  • Apply advanced analytics, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data analyses.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Data Scientist or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, TSQL, Python, R, or others.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools to create meaningful reports and dashboards.

Ideal Candidate Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, enabling the presentation of complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving business impact through data.
  • Capability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems is a plus.
