Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, is recruiting a Data Analyst Intern to support master data management and data quality initiatives. The role focuses on maintaining accuracy for data related to partners, customers, suppliers, and products, and contributes to POS and distributor data upkeep.

You will work with MDG and SAP within a values-driven, fast-paced environment, collaborating across departments while learning and applying data governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Post Secondary enrolment or a related field.
• Industry knowledge: Understanding of the Food or CPG industry is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Strong organizational, time management, facilitation, and process management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• PASSIONATE and has a desire to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example as a “doer”
• Ability to prioritize and multitask multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s Core Values.
• Collaborate with the MD Team to provide end-to-end technology solutions implementation and enablement.
• Data Maintenance: Assist in updating and maintaining master data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
• Data Governance: Utilize data governance practices to consolidate, detect duplicates, and manage data quality.
• Data Quality Management: Monitor and improve data quality through regular audits and remediation using MDG.
• Monitoring of MDG: Assist in monitoring change requests for timely progress.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on data quality and integrity.
• Assist in POS and Distributor data management to ensure that it is current and accurate.
• Support annual sales planning process and tools.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Collaborate with key decision makers and end users to resolve issues; build strong relationships with BPOs, Commercial, Finance and Marketing.
• Keep the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming.
