Job summary

Kinaxis seeks an experienced Engineering Manager for the Data & Observability Platform to lead a team building reusable ingestion frameworks, observability, and modern data capabilities acrossKinaxis’ analytics ecosystem.

You will partner with Data Architecture, SRE, and Cloud Platform Engineering to improve velocity, reliability, and platform maturity while guiding modernization of legacy data tooling in a scalable, cloud-native way.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
5+ years of data engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or related experience.
3+ years of leading or managing technical teams.
Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, dbt, GCP, BigQuery or Snowflake).
Experience building reusable engineering frameworks and developer enablement.

Responsibilities

Lead a data platform team focused on ingestion frameworks, observability, and modernization.
Improve engineering velocity, reduce delivery friction, and enable platform patterns.
Partner with Data Architecture, SRE, Cloud Platform Engineering, and analytics teams.
Drive platform maturity with scalable patterns for logging, monitoring, and automation.
Own data observability and cloud observability capabilities across Kinaxis systems.
