Kinaxis is seeking a Senior Developer to join our Developer Experience and Administration group in Canada. You will design and build enterprise software, APIs, and automation workflows, while contributing to cloud-native solutions and tooling.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable platforms, mentor colleagues, and help elevate the developer experience for Kinaxis platforms and customers.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Significant experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise software applications and APIs.
• Experience building and operating solutions in public cloud environments, primarily Azure and GCP.
• Disciplined approach to software quality, including automated testing, CI, and code review practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts, influence decisions, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• A passion for solving complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support enterprise software, APIs, automation workflows, and developer-facing platform capabilities.
• Develop solutions with a focus on security, performance, reliability, testability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with team members, product partners, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders across the company.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Mentor team members through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
