Data Platform Developer

What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL.
- Develop and deploy Python-based solutions that support data processing, APIs, and service integration.
- Connect internal and third-party platforms via REST APIs and other web services
- Champion data quality, observability, compliance, and governance—balancing agility with responsible data practices.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design solutions that fit evolving data needs.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and drive iteration—aligned to KPIs and business priorities.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in data platform development, backend development, or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Search, Azure Cosmos DB).
- Advanced proficiency in Databricks (Delta Lake, Apache Spark, PySpark, workflows, notebooks).
- Strong Python development skills—particularly for data transformation and APIs.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Clear communicator who can work independently while staying aligned with a remote team.
