Start Date: Monday, September 8, 2025

For this exciting position, we are specifically targeting students with backgrounds in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Engineering who possess coding experience and demonstrate enthusiasm for data engineering, data visualization, cloud computing, and mining technologies. Depending on team needs and location, you may need to work PDT or MDT hours or relocate to a specific office (site-based).

You must currently be enrolled as a student in a Canadian post-secondary institution and remain enrolled throughout the co-op term. Proof of a valid work permit will be required if applicable.

Salary Range: $4,000 - $5,100 / Month

Salary depends on academic progress and prior co-op experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives, adhering to safety and environmental protocols
• Design, build, and deploy data pipelines on Azure for operational data, including historian time series, SQL databases, and unstructured data sources
• Address technical challenges with legacy systems to enable data migration to the cloud
• Validate pipeline data, ensuring security and quality
• Develop performance metrics for data pipelines to meet KPIs
• Maintain documentation for applications and systems
• Support incident response and forensic analysis for Azure pipelines

Qualifications

• Students from diverse educational backgrounds such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Engineering are preferred
• Coding experience in Python, SQL, C# is an asset
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms
• Strong communication skills in technical environments
• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Experience with cloud platforms and various technologies is valued
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is an asset
• Proficiency in independent and team work, fostering inclusivity and diversity
