Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a data operations lead to manage the delivery and daily operation of specialty pharmacy, infusion, patient services and distribution data to support US Commercial strategy. You will transform partner data into reliable, governed assets for reporting and decision-making.

The role is hands-on, requiring SQL, Snowflake end-to-end data pipelines, and coordination with engineering, business and external partners to diagnose issues and implement durable fixes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 5+ years in data ops, data engineering or data management.
• Strong SQL and Snowflake knowledge for data profiling, reconciliation and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with Python for validation/automation and orchestration tools (Airflow) for schedules and failures.

Responsibilities

• Own data lifecycle from ingestion to downstream outputs and validation.
• Oversee reliable data feeds across specialty, distribution and related data streams.
• Use SQL to profile data, reconcile records and trace discrepancies across pipelines.
