Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Data/Information Architect for one of its clients from Healthcare Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the common semantic data model (information, conceptual, and logical level)
• Works with various internal stakeholders, including analysts, business subject matter experts, and architects.
• Assess the current health landscape for relevant information such as data models and standards.
• Collaborates on the definition of other standard architectural components.
• Ensures that interoperability, data consistency, data lifecycle, and technological risks are all addressed in the data architecture deliverables.
• Documents, communicates, and disseminates data architecture artifacts to multi-disciplinary audiences.
• Identifies risks, raises them and works with the project team to develop mitigation plans.

Necessary Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Information and Data architecture, including standards, concepts, patterns, best practices and methodologies.
• 10+ years of experience in Logical Data Modelling and Semantic Modelling.
• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Information/Data Architect working on enterprise-wide transformative initiatives.
• 7+ years of experience in Solid healthcare data standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7 CDA, ISO11179) and terminology and classifications knowledge (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD).
• 7+ years of experience with external stakeholder engagements (clinical, technical and policy experts).
• Experience in Formal Modelling Notations (e.g. UML, ER, OWL).
• Experience leading the development of enterprise data models for large organizations in the Healthcare space.
• 5+ years in project delivery of large-scale data architecture-related initiatives.
• Experience with data semantics via enterprise information models, terminologies, ontologies, glossaries, etc.
• Subject matter data expertise in healthcare. Experience in multiple healthcare sectors is an asset.
• Solid understanding of data governance concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Data Modelling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or equivalent (e.g. Erwin, Power Designer).
• Experience with business vision, strategy and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with data management best practices e.g. DAMA-DMBOK or other.
• Experience with Metadata architecture.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman or other architecture frameworks.
• General understanding of other Enterprise Architecture domains (such as Business or Application Architecture)
