Job summary

Sunrise Farms is seeking a Data Governance & Master Data Senior Analyst for a 1-year hourly contract in Surrey. The role focuses on establishing and operationalizing an enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management program, improving data quality, and supporting ERP transformation.

You will work with business leaders, data stewards, and IT to ensure trusted, accurate data across the organization and enable growth, reporting, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality Management, or ERP Data Management.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing execution of Sunrise Farms' Data Governance program.
• Develop and maintain data policies, standards, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate governance activities across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance.
• Define and maintain business glossaries, data definitions, and ownership assignments.
• Support governance of master data domains (Product, Customer, Supplier, Inventory, Financial).
• Develop data quality scorecards and KPI reporting; drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Assist ERP Syspro implementation and data migration efforts.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Governance & Master Data Senior Analyst to help establish and operationalize our enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) program.

This role will be instrumental in improving data quality, defining governance processes, supporting ERP transformation initiatives, and ensuring business-critical master data is managed consistently across the organization. You will work closely with business leaders, data stewards, system owners, and project teams to build sustainable governance practices that support growth, reporting, and operational excellence.

This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, improving data processes, and driving organizational change through better data management.

There is an opportunity to transition into a full-time position at end of contract.

What You'll Do

Data Governance

• Support the implementation and ongoing execution of Sunrise Farms' Data Governance program.
• Develop and maintain data policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Facilitate governance activities across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance.
• Coordinate Data Governance Council meetings, materials, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Establish and maintain business glossaries, data definitions, critical data elements, and ownership assignments.

Master Data Management

• Support governance and stewardship of critical master data domains, including:
• Product Master
• Customer Master
• Supplier Master
• Inventory Master
• Financial Master Data
• Define and maintain master data lifecycle processes including creation, modification, approval, and retirement.
• Coordinate master data reviews and stewardship activities with functional business teams.
• Support future implementation and administration of MDM technologies as required.

Data Quality Management

• Develop and maintain data quality scorecards and KPI reporting.
• Analyze data quality issues and drive root cause analysis efforts.
• Lead remediation activities with business and technical stakeholders.
• Establish controls and monitoring procedures for key master data elements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

ERP & Business Transformation Support

• Support Syspro ERP implementation and future rollout activities.
• Participate in data migration and validation efforts.
• Ensure data governance and master data requirements are embedded within business processes and system designs.
• Support business readiness and change management activities related to data governance and data quality.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate workshops to define business rules, ownership models, and data standards.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Business SMEs, and IT teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Build strong partnerships across business and technical teams to promote governance adoption.
