Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Data Governance Specialist in Montreal to advise producers and users on data valorization while maintaining governance. You will train teams on data management processes, and develop governance logs, tools and dashboards in a collaborative setting.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, French language proficiency, and strong communication to simplify complex information. Agile familiarity and IKC knowledge are assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with mature data governance model and roles/responsibilities.
• Experience mapping and developing business processes.
• Experience with detection and management of data quality issues.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information.
• Mastery of data governance concepts.
• Knowledge of data catalogs, preferably IBM Knowledge Catalog (IKC).
• Knowledge of data valorization including artificial intelligence.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Experience working for organizations with a mature data governance model, with a clear understanding of associated roles and responsibilities
• Experience mapping and developing business processes
