Job summary

Bird Construction in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for an eight-month contract to support the Finance team. You will accurately enter invoice data into our document management system and coordinate with site teams to ensure timely submissions.

You will review invoices, code them, match to POs, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized digital records. The role offers potential transition to full-time after the contract.

Qualifications

• Data administration experience of at least 2 years.
• Construction industry experience is an asset.
• Experience with OnBase and Viewpoint Accounting is an asset.
• Excellent communications skills and customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage a large volume of work and meet deadlines with high accuracy.
• Ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Data Entry Specialist – 8 Month Contract Reporting to the Finance Support Manager, the Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering invoice information into our document management system. The successful candidate will work closely with the site teams and the Industrial East Finance team to ensure all invoices are submitted and paid on time along with other duties. Potential opportunity for transition to full-time employment upon successful completion of the contract. This position is based out of Mississauga, ON.

What You Will Be Working On

• Review incoming supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and coding
• Index supplier and subcontractor invoices into OnBase and Viewpoint accounting systems
• Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips when applicable
