Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview
Experience
  • Experience in data entry, including the ability to enter information with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
  • Experience using a Laboratory Information System, preferably LabWare or an equivalent laboratory or health-related information management software system.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration

Qualifications and Skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
  • Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Workplace Health and Safety Program or training preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team is essential.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of privacy legislation such as the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast- paced environment essential.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk.
  • Working shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
