Job Type: Contract
Our client, a top banking client in Canada, is looking to hire Data Entry Clerk for their team with a contract for 3 Months (Onsite) with potential extension.


Typical Day in Role:

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles.
  • Ensure adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Record, maintain, and send employee paper files to third-party vendor for storage facility.
  • Respond to administrative inquiries related to record management and vendor solutions.
  • Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and propose recommendations to leadership.

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:

  • 2-4 years experience with Data Entry.
  • Intermediate experience with Excel.
  • Prior administration experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior project coordinating exposure is an asset.
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized with a high volume workload.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:

  • Post-secondary or relevant work experience.
