Job summary

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Data Entry Clerk for an opportunity for a 2-month extendible contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

  • Accurately enter and update data in Deltek ERP systems and Excel files
  • Identify and complete missing information (e.g. postal codes, phone numbers, contact names, tax IDs)
  • Review vendor/customer invoices, contracts, and related documentation to extract relevant data
  • Use online sources (e.g. vendor/customer websites) to validate and retrieve required information
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and consistency
  • Communicate discrepancies or incomplete documentation to internal team

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in data entry or administrative roles
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with entering data to ERP systems

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vision, Vantagepoint, or Ajera experience is a strong asset)
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be fluent in English
