Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Location: Scoudouc, NB
Shift : Monday To Friday, 8am-4pm
Wage: $18.00-$20.00/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry Specialist t to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting month-end processes. This is a full-time role with the possibility of permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Support accounts payable/receivable processing and ensure accurate entries.
  • Prepare the daily deposit, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collect cheques sent by mail and dropped off by drivers
  • Use HighRadius scanning software to deposit cheques
  • Organize and scan all receiving documents for proper filing and record-keeping
  • Input vendor debits into the IDS system as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or financial analysis role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
