Job summary

Brother Canada is seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the design and governance of scalable data pipelines and platforms. You will partner with Analytics & Insights, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable analytics outcomes and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will manage and mentor a high-performing team, drive standardization of data engineering practices, and stay ahead of industry trends to improve data capabilities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and platforms.
• Establish governance standards for data security and quality.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to enable advanced analytics workflows.
• Oversee data integration from diverse systems using Databricks, Alteryx, and Azure.
• Optimize data structures and workflows for performance and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement in analytics practices and data engineering standards.
• Manage and develop a high-performing data engineering team.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
