The Company: Dimensional Strategies Inc. (DSI), is a premier Microsoft partner located in the GTA. Our customer base extends across Canada and the contiguous US states. DSI’s primary goal is to help our customers execute their business processes more efficiently and effectively via investments in applications and analytics. Core practices include – Cloud Infrastructure, Application Development, Analytics, and Managed Services.

The Position:

Own the execution and delivery of our data platform projects that focus primarily on ingesting and curating data for analytical consumption. Our services stack will be primarily Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of the entire data lifecycle – ingestion, engineering, and modeling.
• At least 3-5 years of demonstrable experience leading and executing analytics projects, preferably on the Microsoft platform.
• Comfortable interacting with customers – technical and non-technical personas.
• Bachelor degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or related field /or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5+ years of working experience with SQL server and coding with T-SQL
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in data pipeline developing and maintaining a cloud data architecture in Azure Cloud and developing and maintaining data sets.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience working with cloud analytics platforms in MS Azure or AWS (Databricks, Synapse, etc)
• 3 - 5+ years of engineering scalable software using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.)
• 3 - 5+ years completing tasks related to the data infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data using data pipelines in MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory.
• 3 - 5+ year of experience in cloud data warehousing and dimensional data modeling

• Execute flawlessly on all projects assigned to you.
• Keep up with technical knowledge and allied Microsoft Certifications.
