Job summary

ITMC Systems, Inc. is seeking a data-focused professional for a long-term contract in Montreal. You will optimize performance on major RDBMSs, develop tooling in Python, and implement data delivery patterns across distributed teams.

Strong Unix/Linux basics and excellent communication are required; experience with Git and Agile is a plus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of development and performance optimization on major RDBMS technologies (e.g., Sybase, DB2; plus exposure/interest in Snowflake/SingleStore is a plus).
• Strong scripting skills, especially Python (automation, tooling, diagnostics, data utilities).
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
