Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of development experience in Spark, Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
• 2+ years of SQL experience with performance tuning.
• 2+ years of schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines relied upon by others.
• Cloud data lake or lakehouse exposure; Databricks preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-engineering partners; proactive in asking for feedback.
• BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate pipelines and data models used across teams.
• Own end-to-end pipelines from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to data quality frameworks, testing, and lineage instrumentation.
• Partner with data scientists, analysts, product managers to translate data needs into durable models.
• Extend datamarts and models supporting recurring reporting and analysis.
• Improve reliability and cost efficiency of pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks.
